#WOW: SWARNAA RAJALINGAM

This week's Woman of the Week #WOW is Swarnaa Rajalingam!

Swarnaa took a leap of faith and left her home in Australia to live in Toronto, Canada to follow her own path rather than a traditional one. It challenged her to get out of her comfort zone and encounter new and exciting opportunities! Through her journey she shares her experiences on Youtube and Instagram to help others to learn from her experiences and to inspire them to try something new. She is a co-founder of Aspire to Inspire, which is a movement to help women to love themselves and to support other women too! They have successfully finished their Malaysian movement earlier this year and are returning back to Swarnaa’s home for their fourth movement next year! Also, she has created a page to inspire brown girls to travel! She successfully does this by allowing girls to be a guest bloggers on @browngirlsthattravel to share their amazing places they have been to! She hopes to continue to use her platform to inspire individuals to never limit themselves, learn from your experiences and to take risks throughout their lives! #WOW: JESSICA ERUCHALU

This week’s Woman of the Week #WOW is Jessica Eruchalu!

Jessica Eruchalu is a strong student leader on campus. She is the current President of the Nigerian Student's Association for the 2nd year, after serving her first year as the VP, and is the former Director of Education and Outreach at the Black Student’s Association, and she was even the Community Outreach Manager for the charity Power to be International! She says “Be the kind of person you needed when you were younger. Youth access to education and mentorship is a fundamental resource that when invested in, the implications are felt for generations. As a beneficiary of countless people and supports that have invested in myself, I am compelled to do the same for others. In doing so, I have served in both official and unofficial capacities with black youth in the classroom, after school programming, and mentorship and it has only been an absolute privilege to do so for others as has been done for myself. #WOW: TIFFANY HSIUNG

This week's Woman of the Week #WOW is Tiffany Hsiung!

Hsiung is a Toronto-based filmmaker and creates many films that revolve around social issues in marginalized communities around the world. Among her many accolades for her powerful works, her most well-known is 'The Apology', for which she received a Peabody award, a Canadian Screen Award for Best Original Digital Production, and global recognition and praise for her works. Through her films, Hsiung hopes to inspire cultural education and social responsibility in younger audiences.
